Inside our social skills groups

Our most-loved program. Each group is small, carefully matched and led by a multi-disciplinary team, with a strong focus on pragmatic language because Sarah is a speech-language pathologist.

  • Children are matched by developmental level, not just age
  • Instruction is based on Social Thinking®, the methodology created by Michelle Garcia Winner
  • Sarah plans every curriculum; experienced SLPs, child development specialists and behavior therapists she oversees lead the sessions
  • Some children join more than one group a week

Because groups work best when children are well matched, we keep a waiting list. We’ll let you know as soon as Sarah has a good group ready and confirm a schedule with you.

What happens after you reach out

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Here’s how the first few weeks usually unfold.

  1. Tell us about your child

Call, email or send a request, and we’ll ask a few questions about what you’re noticing.

  2. Book an evaluation

We find a time that works for your family and explain how to prepare your child.

  3. Evaluation and results

Your clinician plays, observes and assesses, then walks you through the findings.

  4. Your therapy plan

Together we agree on goals, services and how many sessions a week make sense.
